Providing experienced and professional therapeutic massage to our Burnsville community since 2009

Our Sessions
All of our sessions are considered Integrative Massage. This approach can incorporate a variety of modalities to ensure the best, individualized treatment for each client. Our therapists will blend techniques and styles from their advanced bodywork training to provide the work that best suits your individual needs. In addition to adjusting our techniques we also adapt our pressure to suit each person we work with, because of this our sessions can vary depending on the clients preferences.
All of our products are hand made in house with organic and local (when available) ingredients. These are used in our treatments and available for purchase in our office and online so you can continue your self care outside of your massage session.
We deeply believe that every person can benefit from massage and we aim to help bodywork be affordable and accessible to everyone. We offer sliding scale to those in need (contact us directly if you would like this option).
We provide bodywork 7 days a week with hours varying for each practitioner. All sessions are by appointment only.

Our Business
The ironwood tree is often used to represent the tree of life, with broad reaching branches and deep stretching roots it connects our bodies with the earth and the heavens. The old timers in these mountains called the ironwood trees "muscle wood" for its strength, flexibility, and fibrous bark structure. Ironwood Arts was named to honor the human body, the power and malleable nature of muscle, and the wisdom of those who came to these mountains before us.
Our History
Ironwood Arts was started in 2009 by Eliza Wallace in her home town of Burnsville, NC and has continued to provide therapeutic bodywork here ever since. Her husband, Adon came to work with her in 2015 and since then they have worked as a team while raising their two children, building their home and expanding their business. Melissa came to work for Ironwood in 2021, with Jessica and Laura joining them in 2022 when they moved to their current location.
