About Our Massage Therapists

Laura

Therapeutic Relaxation and Prenatal

Laura's work is a nurturing and intuitive blend of relaxation and deep tissue. She incorporates hot towels, joint mobilizations, stretching, and trigger point techniques in her sessions. Her prenatal session bring empathy and support to the journey of love, joy, stress and pressures that mothers go through while they carry new life.

About Prenatal Massage

During a prenatal session Laura will have her client lie on their side to keep baby and mother safe and comfortable. Massage during and after pregnancy can help ease soar muscles, joints, and ligaments as well as calm and care for mama so she can care for baby. As a mother herself Laura has a special love for mamas and loves the honor of supporting, preparing, and helping mothers through the emotional and physical strains of pre and post partum care through bodywork.

Therapeutic Integration, Reflexology, and Body Wraps

Melissa provides soothing and calming sessions focusing on relaxation and recovery blending with deep tissue techniques adjusted to each client's needs. Her reflexology session adjusts and balances the whole body through foot and hand work. Both reflexology and nourishing body wraps can be done as standalone sessions or blended with a full body massage.

About Reflexology Sessions

Melissa's Reflexology session use massage and pressure point techniques on the feet and hands to stimulate healing in the organs and soft tissue through the body. Reflexology can be combined with head and neck massage for a 60 minute session or a full body massage for a 90 or 2 hrs session.

About Nourishing Body Cocoons

Melissa starts by exfoliating and opening the skin with dry brushing followed by application of our own hand-made nourishing skin butter and wrapping the body in layers of blankets. While wrapped she massages your neck and feet. A 90 minute or 2 hour body warp will incorporate back, arms and legs to provide a full body massage. The session is finished with time to relax into your wrap and release muscle tension from the inside out.

About Hot Stone Massage

During these sessions Melissa incorporates heated basalt stones with her massage techniques. The heat provided by damp hot stones penetrates more deeply into the muscle tissue than manual pressure ever can. This slow heat creates deep relaxation and release of muscle tension allowing the client a gentle way to relax while changing tension and letting the therapist working into the deeper muscles layers to make greater change.

Therapeutic Deep Tissue, Cupping, Bamboo and Hot Stone Fusion

Adon focuses on long flowing hands-on techniques combined with heated bamboo to achieve therapeutic detail and deep relaxation. His sessions can range from deep work to gentle depending on the needs of the client. Cupping session can be used to release and lengthen soft tissue and increase other body functions. For a truly unique therapeutic massage he incorporates hot stones and heated bamboo in his specialty Sticks and Stones sessions.

About Cupping Sessions

In these session Adon combines massage cupping with hands on techniques to advance the therapeutic outcome that traditional massage can achieve. Cupping creates negative pressure on the underlying tissue freeing up fascial adhesions and promote lymphatic drainage. Cups can be applied to a single body area for muscular issues or used in larger patterns to lengthen the fascial net depending on the client's needs. They can also be placed in static positions or moved as needed.

Cupping can leave short term marks on the skin as it draws damaged cells and stagnant blood to the surface allowing the body to clear them. These marks can last up to a week.

About Sticks and Stones Massage

In this customized session Adon blends hands on massage, heated basalt stones, Himalayan salt stones, and warm Bamboo sticks to create a full experience of resetting and renewing the muscular and other soft tissue structures. Both bamboo and stones function as tools to work deeper into the soft tissue. The heat allows the body to soften and relaxed more completely than hands on work alone is capable of.
